Vice President, Legal and Chief Compliance Counsel GoHealth is seeking a Vice President of Legal and Chief Compliance Counsel to join our Legal Department. This individual will be reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer and will be responsible for leading GoHealth's regulatory and compliance programs, including all compliance with Medicare laws, state insurance regulations, privacy rules, and advertising practices all while serving as an instrumental partner to the Company's senior executives on regulatory and broader legal matters. Responsibilities Partner with the Company's key executives, including the Chief Growth Officer and Chief Marketing Officer and their teams, to evaluate and develop new Medicare Advantage and related products, programs, services and marketing materials to ensure regulatory compliance and oversee remediation when issues arise; Represent GoHealth's compliance program before clients and regulators, including in-person summits, regular virtual meetings and written communications. Serve as strong advocate for GoHealth with external parties (including customers, regulators and others) to bring business and regulatory expertise to further business objectives in a heavily regulated market Review and monitor all Medicare Advantage scripting and marketing utilized by the business to ensure compliance. Lead a team of attorneys and compliance specialists to educate and train Company employees, draft and maintain policies and procedures, ensure compliant operational practices in collaboration with other business leaders. Lead team that performs compliance audits and implement corrective actions for GoHealth and related entities. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution are required Minimum five years of experience working with healthcare and insurance laws either in a law firm or in-house setting with particular experience in Medicare and other healthcare-related regulatory/legal frameworks, including HIPPA, PPACA, etc. Member of at least one state bar Excellent communication skills Experience managing a compliance department is preferred Due tothe unprecedented situation of COVID-19, GoHealth has decided to protect our current and futureemployees by managing our business remotely. This is inclusive of interviewing, onboarding and each role day-to-day. Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
Minimum Qualification
Legal & RegulatoryEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
