The Substance Use Counselor will provide individual, group, and family counseling services for individuals experiencing addiction/substance use disorders and substance-related issues on the Northwest side of Chicago.
Help guide clients on their recovery journey by collaboratively crafting an individualized treatment plan and providing counseling to help meet their personal goals.

Essential Functions:
Provide counseling services to those with alcohol/drug related conditions and/or problems.
Coordinate and facilitate group and individual counseling sessions in person and via telehealth for a variety of populations including adolescents.
Complete evaluations, intake assessments, and treatment planning for clients.
Maintain a caseload of individual clients.
Maintain compliance with SUPR, Medicaid, and other regulatory policies.
Position
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred, but not required.
Professional certification or licensure (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC, or CADC) within one year of hire date is required.
Experience in substance use treatment field preferred.
Excellent communication, organization, presentation and pc/computer skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Zoom) along with other related software.
This position will also require a candidate to have reliable transportation to travel between program sites, pass an annual TB test, and a background check.
