Modern office setting The Office Assistant will assist customers, manage paperwork, and use excellent verbal and written communication skills to handle a high volume of customer service issues in a timely and professional manner.
This position is located at O'Hare Airport.
There is an opprotunity for a flexiable schedule between 10am-6pm; 20-25 hours a week.
Responsibilities Welcome visitors in a positive professional manner.
Manage all incoming telephone calls efficiently and in a friendly and professional manner.
Handle general administrative tasks such as processing mail, transcribing meeting minutes, conference room management, manage postage machine, filing etc.
Receive office supplies and goods (e.
g.
, packages, flowers, documents) Maintain a reception environment that is clean, tidy, and accurately reflects the corporate image of ABM.
Maintain office supplies and place orders timely when inventory is low with assistance.
Keeping office records up to date Correspond and schedule meetings on behalf of management.
Provide administrative support to the management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular) Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work Attention to detail and problem solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task High School degree Preferred
