Job Description:
Will use industry best practices while producing high-quality front-end digital solutions (desktop and mobile) in a collaborative, agile, results driven environment.
Will identify and represent end customer requirements with business, platform and software engineering teams and then work across product, engineering, and platform teams to drive execution of features from original concept all the way through development pipeline.
Will guide initial customer and product research, transitioning insights into product definition and requirements and then working those requirements through with each dependent engineering team.
Will create data flows and functional and technical specifications as needed.
Will identify dependencies and constraints across required systems and APIs to deliver on needed customer experience, and then will work with development teams to identify and diagnose bugs to ensure product quality and performance standards are met.
Will use understanding and proficiency of front end and back end application development to be able to guide development teams, weigh risks, and make decisions of value/complexity tradeoffs.
Will leverage base knowledge in user experience and interaction design to collaborate with UX team to drive out design artifacts.
Will play an active role in optimization and process improvements between business, product, design, and engineering teams.
This will require a unique skillset in understanding best practices of both product management, as well as application and platform engineering to keep close relations between all parties in the value chain.
REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a Masters degree (or equivalent foreign degree) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or a closely related field and 1 year of experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analytics or Product Owner position working in support of digital applications.
Position also requires 1 year of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) performing software requirements grooming, and design and validation for digital applications; performing design, analysis, programming, integration, debugging, testing, and implementation activities; delivering software solutions to business/technical problems in support of customer requirements; working directly with the product development and product management lifecycle; software tools and technologies, including:
Alternatively, will accept a Bachelors degree (or equivalent foreign degree) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or a closely related field and 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analytics or Product Owner position working in support of digital applications.
