Product Quality Assurance Engineer

The Product Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring True Value products meet or exceed customer requirements, in terms of safety, performance, applicable regulatory/industry standards, as well as on-time shipment requirements.
Responsibilities (May perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned).
Provide technical support to other QA team members and suppliers when necessary, to ensure all products meet customers' expectations and regulatory standards.
Perform, request, and review factory audits and ensure the factories are capable of consistently producing products that meet or exceed our specifications.
Review and approve all pre-production testing and pre-shipment inspection reports before releasing products to mass production or shipment.
Develop product specification templates and work with CSO QA, Suppliers, and Global Sourcing to ensure all specifications are complete, accurate, and filed securely.
Work with third party labs to develop test, and inspection protocols.
Review and approve implementation of the requested product/process Corrective And Preventive Actions (CAPA) before mass production of new products, or next production of existing products before any pending Purchase Order production.
Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years of experience in Compliance, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain or Product Design.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
