Duties and responsibilities Financial returns:
Ensures all cash handling and cash register functions and procedures are performed by line employees during a shift.
Responsible for Promotional Store Setup for Store success.
People:
Executes store operations during scheduled shifts.
Organizes opening and closing duties as assigned.
Effectively uses provided tools, such as Duty Roster Book, for successful shift operation.
Contributes to positive team environment by providing clear, specific, timely and respectful coaching and feedback to employees on shift.
Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with key department heads.
In the absence of Starbucks General Manager will assist in store scheduling and adjusts staffing to meet store and business needs.
Approves necessary schedule changes/employee shift swaps when needed.
Assists Starbucks General Manager in training new associates by reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful coaching as needed.
Communicates effectively to Starbucks General Manager about progression of new hire baristas.

Experience:
Delivers superb customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer.
Ensure accounting practices, support the guest experience through payment options (example:
credit card systems, room charges), inventory controls and financial dispute resolution.
Ensures outside patio furniture and patio area is functional at designated business hours.
Ensures that area is maintained according to standards with furniture and patio grounds clean, organized and presentable to our guests.
Responsible for maintaining a clean, comfortable and inviting environment for all Starbucks customers.
Regularly checks condiment bar and seating area for any imperfection and corrects accordingly.
Responsible business:
Follows and directs others to follow all Company and store policies and procedures including but not limited to cash policies, the Employee Handbook, and safety and security.
Responsible for directing and supervising contract labor staff assigned to the store.
Directs the team to follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
Develops positive relationships with the shift team.

Qualifications and requirements High School diploma or equivalent, previous experience in supervisory position at a similar establishment a plus, ability to compute basic mathematical calculations, food Hygiene certificate, first aid awareness, proficient with cash handling and Micros POS system, a vailability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, s trong verbal and written communication skills, ability to motivate and manage others, results oriented and self-directed, good organizational and planning skills, strong interpersonal skills, ability to lead and inspire, strong problem solving skills, f ollow verbal and written instructions, ability to communicate with supervisors and co-workers.
