Our Chicago office is looking for a Marketing Specialist, ideally with agency or related experience working on digital, print, content, media and video projects.
You will oversee projects from beginning to end - keeping everybody on the same page and ensuring all parties have what they need to complete their tasks on time and within budget.

Job Duties:
Managing Budget and Projects - There can be a lot of moving parts during a project.
Since you collaborate with several DeanHouston departments (creative, media, content, web development, etc.
) on projects, you will help lead from beginning to end while keeping everything on budget and on time.

Communicate and Manage Internal Team/Resources - Considering how many people touch a project, constant (and clear) communication with everybody and properly managing resources is critical.
You'll schedule and manage team meetings throughout a project:
it's up to you that everybody is heading in the same direction.
You'll also work with the account team to understand the client's business model and provide clear-cut project objectives to the greater team.
Vendor & Timeline Management - You'll manage the vendor and internal resources in relation to the approved budgets and be flexible to make any changes when needed to keep budget and labor expenses aligned.
You'll need to clearly document and update timelines to keep everybody on the same page.
Quality Assurance - You may be the last person that sees a deliverable before it's sent to the client.
Because of this, you will lead the QA effort to make sure everything is error-free and aligned with the client's and DeanHouston's standards.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or related preferred
Experience:
minimum two years in advertising or marketing position preferred, especially in agency serving in account services or project management position B2B, Industrial/technical marketing experience preferred Digital marketing experience a plus Recommended Skills Advertising Curiosity Digital Marketing Multitasking Product Positioning Project Management Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
