The Recruiting Compliance Manager is a key member of the thyssenkrupp Human Resources group in North America and will primarily be responsible for best practice policy development, implementation, and compliance.
This role will report to the HR Director and will interact with different levels within the NA Regional Platform.
ResponsibilitiesRecruiting Compliance Ensure legal compliance within recruiting by monitoring and implementing applicable federal and state requirements.
Provide recruiting compliance advisory services to stakeholders to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and policies Assist in the collection of data for annual EEO-1, VETS- 4212, AAP or other required government reports Updates and maintains forms, processes and compliance regulations within Applicant Tracking System ATS, and job posting site.
Advises on annual policy revisions, to comply with state/federal changes and rapidly changing legislation.
Create and conduct audits of HR recruiting policies and systems and recommend changes to mitigate risks or penalties.
Support new recruiting process improvement initiatives and partner with HR on building and maintaining solutions Assist with process mapping and streamlining existing recruiting processes within the organization In partnership with the internal legal team, develop, implement, and maintain recruiting compliance policies, procedures, and best practice processes for HR across the organization Keep current on all changes to state and local laws and requirements, inform and advise groups on new policy/process creation Vendor Management Builds professional and effective business relationships with third-party recruiting (accurate, indeed, etc) vendors to facilitate quick resolution of administrative issues.
Communicate regularly with vendors to resolve any issues, provide feedback, and ensure that their performance meets expectations Stay current with industry trends and best practices in vendor management and make recommendations for improvements to the organizations vendor management processes and strategies Developing requests for vendor proposals (RFPs) and reviews vendor specifications Presenting competing proposals to management and may assist in vendor selection Your profileInternal Stakeholder Management Cultivate and nurture a culture of true partnership and shared accountability between regional recruiting services function and the local business / HR departments Develop collaborative partnerships with the Recruiting team in the region and the Center of Competence of thyssenkrupp AG in Germany.
Continually identify opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen relationships.
Partner with the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) administrator(s) to support regional and global initiatives Partner with HR in the region on recruiting operations and the development of tools, processes and communications to ensure that coordination and candidate needs are represented Support employer brand and steer campaigning together with the Business Units within the region Participate in cross functional projects with human resources team, as needed.
Support change management and appropriate communication plans to ensure new processes and systems are rolled out effectively on a global scale, while ensuring that all stakeholders and users are represented to ensure program success.
Qualifications Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience Experience driving alignment and relationship building within a matrix organization Experience using Microsoft Excel, HR Analytics platforms and/or business intelligence platforms to organize and analyze data Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements Experience using insights, behavioral data, and campaign performance data to understand candidate data and inform strategic plans deeply In depth knowledge of compliance activities related to EEOC, Affirmative Action Plans, pre-employment processes, OFCCP and record retention Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to influence others Able to consistently nail details, driving process and managing to goals Ability to work autonomously to learn new systems, educate yourself on current trends and regulations, and deliver results Must be independent and trustworthy to take on and manage relationships, while also being a team player and communicative with a broad set of stakeholders Results and detail-oriented, extremely organized, and able to prioritize among a wide array of tasks and responsibilities Experience with applicant tracking systems such as iCIMS, Taleo, Bullhorn, and BambooHR 5
years of recruitment or recruiting compliance experience Position is primarily remote, but candidates will need to travel to the tkNA offices in Chicago or other thyssenkrupp businesses across the United States on a regular basis.
