Summary:
The Associate Director, Regional Strategy (ADRS) - Central (Chicago, IL or Columbus, OH) role is a key field-based position within the US Business Unit that supports the commercialization efforts of TTFields technology for designated region.
Core responsibilities for this position include support of both new and existing customers for the US CNS Franchise business, engagement of regional and national Opinion Leaders for defined indications with unbranded or corporate materials, engagement of strategic healthcare institutions that are focused on defined indications, and marketing collaboration to support the awareness and commercialization of Optune.
The ADRS will collaborate with cross functional field based and home office teams, including Sales and Marketing, Health Policy, Medical Affairs, and Advocacy.
This is a full time, exempt, field-based position that reports to Regional Business Director of the US CNS Franchise.
The ideal candidate will be located in the greater Chicago, IL Metro area or the greater Columbus, OH Metro area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Support of both new and existing customers for the US CNS Franchise business Partner with RBD on strategic vision of region and successful implementation of strategies to ensure maximum opportunity for patients to move forward with Optune Engagement of regional and national CNS Opinion Leaders with branded and unbranded corporate materials Focused efforts on C-Suites of leading cancer centers across region as well as additional call points as designated by RBD for strategic execution Comprehensive KOL engagement and conference planning at key US CNS conferences Scheduling Executive Leader Team meetings Insights gathering and strategy input to brand team Engagement of strategic Cancer Centers with a defined indications focus across a designated region to ensure C-Suite understanding of a patient journey and importance of Optune in that journey Map CNS cancer referral patterns within respective geography for defined indications Marketing collaboration to increase awareness and demand gathering to support commercial efforts Support advisory boards by identifying key oncology HCPs as potential advisors for defined indications In coordination and direction of the RBD, Identify, cultivate and maintain long-standing relationships with KOLs, Novocure Speaker Bureau (NSB) faculty and advisors Assist in the development of Regional defined indications marketing tools Partner with 3rd parties to engage with regional Opinion Leaders for defined indications Work closely with the US Business Team, Device Support Specialists (DSS), in-house Reimbursement, Sales Operations and US Medical Field Engagement Teams Be a conduit for Marketing, Senior Leadership, Government Affairs, and Patient Advocacy Obtain and provide field-based intelligence to internal stakeholders Support Optune patient education and management initiatives Work within the Novocure regulatory and legal compliance guidelines Be the voice of the field with Marketing QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:
Field sales/account management experience in oncology therapeutics in academic centers of excellence Minimum of 5 years of medical device or pharmaceutical experience with a proven track record of success Experience and relationships in medical oncology in large institutions would be considered a key asset Expert ability in managing an oncology therapeutic business on an account basis with responsibility for sales, local marketing, reimbursement and technical support functions Minimum of an undergraduate degree required.
Advanced degree preferred.
Must have a proven ability to work in a fast-paced organization with minimum supervision, good judgment, and sound decision making skills Strong leadership skills Proven ability to multi-task numerous responsibilities and to interact effectively with key internal and external stakeholders Superior oral and written communication skills Ability to adjust quickly to business needs and customer demands Other:
