05/15/2023 Summary The Technology and Operations Specialist utilizes our recruitment technology systems (Technolutions Slate and Ellucian Colleague) to maximize the efficiency and productivity of our admissions operations.
Under the direction of the Recruitment CRM Director, the position assists with projects and business processes using Slate, our recruitment CRM.
This can include building forms, workflows, queries, etc.
that drive daily operations.
The position will be a Slate superuser, will assist the development and implementation of new Slate functionality, ensure proper usage of recruitment systems, and develop operations documentation.
The position will collaborate with outside vendors on data transfers and will serve as a back-up to the Recruitment CRM Director for data imports and other responsibilities.
During peak times of the recruitment year, this position may also assist with admission processes including document processing, admission decision processing and notifications, mass mailings, configuring event forms in Slate, and other daily operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Configures and executes daily operations using the Slate CRM including document processing, decision notifications, visit scheduling functionality, etc.
Ensures data accuracy and integrity through data reconciliation, duplicate record processing, and troubleshooting data discrepancies.
Collaborates with other University units, including but not limited to, Information Technology, Records and Registration, Financial Aid, and Bursar to reconcile student records Supports the integration of Slate with other University systems as we improve continuity and service across the student enrollment and matriculation process.
Assists is the development and implementation of new Slate functionality.
Performs annual system testing at the beginning of each recruitment cycle and as needed as new functionality is implemented.
Assists with daily operations during peak periods of the recruitment cycle.
Attend and participate in professional development activities, including but not limited to the annual Slate Summit.
Other special projects as assigned by the Recruitment CRM Director.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Proficiency in the use of computer technology and software in a business setting required Experience working with business processes and operations is required Experience working in admissions, operations, or beginner-to-intermediate information technology roles is helpful.
Experience with Technolutions Slate or other student information systems or CRMs is highly preferred.
Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
An interest in learning and the ability to master policies, processes, and procedures quickly is essential.
Excellent communication skills are required with the ability to understand and articulate complex issues and business processes.
Project management skills and problem-solving skills are preferred.
An interest in working in a fast-paced team environment is necessary.
