- Infants -Pediatrics - Adolescents Skill Requirements:
- Pediatrics - Endrotracheal tube/suctioning - Extubation - Intubation - Nasal airway placement - Nasal airway suctioning - Oral airway placement - Oropharyngeal/suctioning - Tracheostomy/suctioning Charting Experience Required:
Meditech Required Administer emergency respiratory care procedures Provide emergency respiratory therapy services Set up respiratory and respiratory related equipment for patients Perform advanced respiratory care modalities Maintain necessary respiratory therapy records Assess patient's respiratory status Educate patients about respiratory disease Administer routine respiratory care therapeutic modalities Provide emergency respiratory support to patients Assess the respiratory care needs of patients Inspect and test respiratory therapy equipment Perform advanced respiratory care modalities Evaluate respiratory practice, administration of medications and treatment based on patient outcomes Detracting from primary respiratory care services Test respiratory therapy equipment to ensure equipment Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory care Evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory care Evaluate respiratory practice, administration of medications and treatment based on patient outcomes Perform advanced respiratory care modalities Develop respiratory therapy staff by providing information Recommended Skills Acute Care Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Basic Cardiac Life Support Critical Care Intensive Care Unit Pediatric Advanced Life Support Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
