MANAGER FOR CHICAGO EARLY LEARNING WORKFORCE SCHOLARSHIP TRUMAN COLLEGE City Colleges of Chicago's (CCC) Harry S.
Truman College serves as the Center of Excellence for degree and certificate programs in the focus area of Education, including early childhood, child development, and grades K-12.
Reporting to the Executive Director for Chicago Early Learning Workforce Scholarship, the Manager for Chicago Early Learning Workforce Scholarshipsupports the strategic leadership for the scholarship across higher education institutions and partners such as:
Department of Family Support Services, Chicago Public Schools, City Colleges of Chicago, other institutions of higher education, Illinois Network of Child Care Reference and Referral Agency.
The Manager for Chicago Early Learning Workforce Scholarship supports the CEL Workforce Scholarship effort collaborative initiative with the Mayor's Office of Early Learning, Chicago Public Schools and the Department of Family and Support Services to support the growth of the early childhood workforce and to increase access to coursework and credentials for educators who enroll in early childhood higher education programs.
In partnership with these agencies, the Manager of CEL Scholarship works with City and State agencies to support the development of pathways and administer scholarships on those pathways to build the early childhood workforce.
Performs related duties as required.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
oSupports in the implementation and expansion of the Chicago Early Learning Workforce Scholarship, including the systems, processes, and policies to support the program across higher education institutions.
oDevelops and leads intake application and process for onboarding students to potential institutions.
oMonitors plans for enrolling scholarship recipients in early childhood and preschool education programs in four-year institutions.
oCreates communication content regarding Chicago Early Learning Workforce Scholarship to assure clear and cross-institution language.
oTracks cross institutional scholarship metrics, including participation, course completion, degree and credential attainment, and work commitment.
Leads development and use of Data, Customer Relations Management, and Dashboard systems.
oSupports special initiatives and improvement efforts undertaken by the Executive Director.
oSupports the design and development of processes and procedures for metric, project tracking, and data visualization.
Qualifications:
oA Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Education, Data/Research or a related field.
oFour years of progressively responsible experience working in an education setting.
Experience developing data reporting and management systems preferred.
oExcellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
oExcellent organizational, problem-solving and time management skills.
oKnowledge of local /regional early childhood workforce needs and economic development issues, challenges, and opportunities.
oKnowledge of higher education systems, articulation processes, assessment and program review.
oKnowledge and understanding of program development, evaluation, and budgeting.
oAbility to guide and motivate others toward goal achievement.
oAbility to work within a culturally diverse environment.
oAbility to build and maintain systems, processes, and procedures.
oProficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
