Summary:
The Site Manager/QC/SSHO is responsible for overseeing and managing all facets of work elements and site conditions in the prosecution of DAWSON Contracts, including; coordinating subcontractors and DAWSON Field Personnel, overseeing and documenting the quality control and safety program as well as identifying, analyzing and developing improvements in productivity, client relationships, customer service, quality and safetyThe Site Superintendent must be able to travel as required to manage and oversee all assigned projectsAnnual Salary:
$105,000- $125,000 POSITION DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
Responsible for coordination and execution of site work, overseeing and documenting the quality control and safety programs on projects, as well as identifying, analyzing and developing improvements in productivity, client relationships, customer service, quality and safety for all construction workResponsibility for all operations on the job site; to include Supervision of craft workers assigned to an area of responsibility; providing liaison between home office/field engineering and crafts to ensure construction complies with drawings and specificationsPlan the work schedule, determination of appropriate manpower levels, materials/quantities (and quality thereof), and equipment requirementsManage onsite meetings and distribute schedule updates and meeting minutesComplete daily documentation requirements including reports and photosMonitor work performance and productivity of trades to ensure project specifications, procedures, quality, and safety requirements are maintainedAdvise Project Management of potential problems, work interference, and schedule difficulties; assist in circumventing/resolving such problems as requiredGather and submit required submittals and maintain on-site submitter registryCheck material and equipment received against approved submittalsSubmit Daily QC report to client and distribute to project teamDocument work progress on site and quality control issues via job notes, photos and meeting minutesMaintain QC Deficiency log and issue deficiency notifications as requiredMaintain red-line or as-built on project siteGenerate RF I's in conjunction with Project ManagerGenerate and disperse Government inspections and sign-offsMaintain daily reports for Client personnelDevelop and maintain testing logPOSITION REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATION:
A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Construction Area with 5 years of direct Construction Supervision of DOD ProjectsFamiliarity with Federal construction processesExcellent verbal and written communications skillsOSHA 30-hour certification required with Construction Health & Safety Technician certification desiredActive CQM certificate required with demonstrable Quality Control Management experience requiredFamiliarity with Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 a plusECMS Experience is preferredEDUCATION:
