Marketing Event Coordinator

Responsibilities1.
Event Strategy and Planning:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine event goals, target audience, and messaging Conduct research on event venues and activities, and present recommendations to internal stakeholders Manage all administrative tasks and ensure internal Finance, Legal, and IT processes are followed Manage and serve as department liaison with IT and web teams for any event website-related activities2.
Event Execution and Management:
Manage event logistics, such as vendor coordination and travel arrangements Manage content collection with sponsor partners and customer speakers Coordinate on-site logistics, including registration, signage, AV setup, and catering Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality Manage events inbox and respond to all inbound inquiries within 24 hours Monitor event progress, handle any issues or changes that arise, and ensure successful event outcomes Oversee on-site end-to-end event execution, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality experiences4.
Post-Event Evaluation and Reporting:
Manage registration code creation and free pass distribution, and track usage for internal reporting Conduct post-event evals to measure the success of events and gather feedback for continuous improvement Analyze event metrics, including attendance and customer satisfaction, to assess event effectiveness Prepare post-event reports summarizing key findings, insights, and recommendations for future eventsAlliances Marketing:
- Support Alliances with metrics and newsletter creation to report back to AWS on the health of the partnership- Work with AWS specialist sellers to open up event opportunities- Collaboration with AWS PSMs on sales campaigns, sales outreach- Help with AWS MDF funding request submissions and finalizing the funding after events.
- Help with AWS project funding requests- Proactively source brand promotion opportunities through AWS counterparts- Help with day-to-day Alliances tasks as neededQualifications Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field Minimum 2 years of experience in event planning and management, preferably in the tech industry or B2B sector Experience with event management software preferred Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events and Alliances activities concurrently Excellent organizational and time management abilities to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional results Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders Budgeting and financial management skills to ensure cost-effective event execution Ability to travel up to 50% Recommended Skills Business Process Improvement Communication Customer Satisfaction Event Management Finance Financial Management Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
