Responsibilities:
Manage and guide the development team, providing technical leadership for successful business solutionsDrive development and support of member-facing applications, ensuring security, right-sizing, and high qualityDevelop the business systems analyst practice, refining and analyzing business requirements aligned with Agile processesLead teams in documenting and understanding data flows across systems to support business needsDecompose high-level business needs into well-written user stories using the INVEST criteriaCollaborate with architects to ensure technical solutions align with business requirementsProvide technical leadership to project managers and programmers on development project teamsEnforce functional policies, procedures, and best practices, collaborating with analysts, developers, and system ownersPromote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, assisting in incident and problem resolutionManage team performance goals, career development, skills training, and annual budgetsGuide and coach less experienced IT staff as neededManager, Application Development Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field; advanced degree preferredMinimum of 9 years of client-server software development or 12 years of combined applications development and support experienceExperience leading business systems analysts with process modeling activitiesFamiliarity with SDLC methods (Waterfall, Agile/Scrum) and proficiency in common languages and frameworksKnowledge of common OS and RDBMS:
Windows, Solaris, Linux; SQL ServerExperience with App Server:
Apache/Tomcat, IIS, Websphere 7.
