The Security Guard performs designated work and assists with front desk duties.
Reports directly to Administrator.
Qualifications:
Must be a high school graduate.
Must exhibit good customer service skills with callers, visitors, residents, and staff.
Previous security experience is preferred but training will be provided.
Ability to answer phones, direct resident and visitor traffic, and assist with the general duties of front desk staff.
The Security Guard will be able and willing to work flexible hours, such as during a emergency situation and must be patient and tolerant towards staff, residents, and visitors.
DUTIES:
o Perform defined work routines o Monitoring surveillance cameras and equipment o Follow Federal and State long term care regulations and policies.
o Authorize entrance of people and vehicles o Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all residents and staff o Log all resident admissions and discharges properlyo Respond to alarms or codes, and react in a timely manner o Check resident pass book to ensure residents are leaving the building at their designated times o Check resident bags when entering the facility to ensure that no contraband enters the facility o Submit reports of every suspicious action o Protect and maintain confidential information o Adhere to all company service and operating standards o Perform other department duties or special assignments as directed by the Administrator or Department Manager o Assist in resident cigarette pass as needed.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
