At the direction of the Business Unit Manager, this role will effectively communicate and sell Polygon solutions for the growth and expansion of the assigned territory.
Essential Job Functions:
Prospecting and face to face cold callsField level Lunch & Learns, presentations and demonstrationsTrack record of solutions sales success and out of the box thinkingConduct client needs analysis via discovery conversations with proficiency in all Polygon service linesAttend local association events and participate in professional organizations in a manner that expands the awareness of Polygon and ensures follow-up directly with the clientsManage clients throughout the lifecycle of their contractDevelop a territory business plan to support Polygons sales and strategic initiativesUtilize LinkedIn and marketing approved social media to highlight field level successes and the value of PolygonRegularly introduce the benefits and value proposition of Polygon solutions to the client and decision maker in the fieldOriginate new business and cultivate relationships for year over year sales revenue growthBuild and maintain strong local relationships with existing clients and key prospective clientsEstimate, quote and close business necessary to meet revenue and sales objectives in assigned territoryDevelop, maintain and grow a quality opportunity pipeline in the company CRM that supports Polygon sales and strategic initiativesRegularly update and maintain the company CRM with sales activitiesEffectively collaborate and communicate with Project Manager, Business Unit Manager, and Director of Client Development to ensure projects are completed in accordance with original estimates and quotesAbility to forecast pipeline revenueProvide consistent and superior customer experienceComplete sales metrics reports per the Company processJob
Qualifications:
2-3 years business-to-business customer facing sales or a combination of inside/outside salesExperience is preferred in a market specific industry (i.
e.
commercial construction, restoration, renovations, industrial, manufacturing sales, etc.
)Must have a history of successful sales origination (not lead provided / response appointments)Strong organizational, negotiating, relationship and presentation skillsDeveloped sales skills and the ability to accomplish multiple tasksAbility to plan and schedule sales activity using contact relationship softwareStrong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPointA responsible and conscientious natureGreat problem-solving aptitudeDiligence and excellent quality and attention to detailWork Environment:
