Business Development Executive Consultant(IL)

You will serve as the lead field contact for assigned agents with ownership for profitable growth.
You will report to the Regional Sales Director.
Compensation Minimum:
$95,000/yearCompensation Maximum:
$161,000/yearCompensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location.
Primary Accountabilities You will prospect and appoint agents together with the overall regional strategy for expansion of distribution outlets.
You will use market analytics to assess geographic territory to identify prospect and current customers with highest growth potential.
You will appoint new customers based on book of business.
You will Identify vulnerable competitors within assigned territory.
You will build detailed business plans for assigned agents.
You will determine appropriate timing of agency visits.
You will be familiar with the territory.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements 5
years territory management selling to insurance brokers.
5
years knowledge of the demographics of the territory.
5
years track record of success in building and maintaining business relationships.
5
years proven track record of success in insurance sales.
5
years experience working with Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).

You will work out of your home in Illinois and travel throughout the territory.
Licenses Not Applicable.
Travel Requirements Up to 10%.
