4K a year 3 days ago 3 days ago 3 days ago JOB SUMMARY Insurance AR Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely posting of payments, denials, refunds, and adjustments to patient accounts within the practice management system(s).
The Specialist verifies deposits and reconciles payment batches.
This position is responsible for identifying and reporting inefficiencies and opportunities to accelerate cash posting and account resolution.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures payments, electronic remittances, adjustments, denials, and rejections are accurately posted to patient accounts.
Balances daily batch deposit Identifies and reports any payment discrepancies including contract management variances Monitor unapplied payments Send recap email office for rectification Knowledge of payment portals as needed to obtain EOB's REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 2
year of recent cash posting experience in the dental field Knowledge of Dentrix G6 or higher Ascend a plus Knowledge of PPO and fee for service payments Math and accounting skills are required.
Knowledge of manual and electronic payment posting.
Knowledge of ERA's, EFT's, and EOB's.
Knowledge of the revenue cycle.
Ability to read and interpret EOB's.
Knowledge of payment and insurance portals.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
