years of hands on Splunk experience, some context building automation processes to connect other monitoring platforms (SolarWinds, DataDog, Service Now) with Splunk, a working knowledge of Python development, and have some practical Cloud Experience (preferably Amazon Web Services). This position has a hybrid (2 days in office) requirement at Chicago office.Primary duties include:
Splunk Admin Management Splunk Dashboard and Alerting Configuration AWS Integration with SaaS APIs Knowledge Transfer and Collaboration Skills Clear Communication to Business and IT StakeholdersSoftware Requirements:
Splunk Admin (5-7 years) Batch/Bash Script Python (knowledge preferred) PowerShell (knowledge preferred)Experience Requirements:

or more years developing in Splunk on prem and/or Splunk SaaS. Hands on work in one or more cloud environments (AWS, Azure). Experience in reading/understanding code (Python/Powershell). Experience using YAML, JSON, and APIs programmatically. Ability to pair program within an Agile team to achieve team goals. Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills. 4 year college degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
