Glider Required 2 Interviews with Technical Panel Open to remote candidates if they can work CST Will assist with optimizing applications Will break the problem down into a structured code and formulate and optimization plan that is typically written in Java 3
years minimum experience Would be willing to see someone who had all the experience and recently graduated with internship level experience. Master's/ PhD required They utilize Fico Xpress for optimization, but do not need that as long as they have some type of optimization solver Minimum Qualifications Master's/PhD degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math, Statistics) Experience with at least one Object Oriented programming language (e.g., C++, Java) Depth of knowledge in at least one OR skill area (e.g., optimization, simulation, statistics) Practical experience with data extraction, cleaning, and analysis Demonstrated aptitude for independent learning, logical analysis, problem identification, and problem solving Preferred Qualifications 2
years of experience in a technical professional environment 2
years of experience developing and implementing large scale optimization models using MIP and heuristics 2
years of experience in Java Experience in using cloud platforms and parallel processing to scale model development/ deployment Surrounding team/key projects Tech Ops MX Planning Integrated Planning Application Resource will be working onLong Range Planning & Short Range Planning Optimization Recommended Skills Applied Mathematics C+
