Accounting Department Internship - Summer 2024
Description CME Group is currently looking for a full-time Accounting intern for summer 2024.
This candidate will assist the Accounting Department on day-to-day activities in support of the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or Corporate Accounting functions.
At a high level, the individual will assisting with entering supplier invoices, customer collections, account reconciliations, recording journal entries, updating financial schedules, analyzing financial data, administrative tasks, and other ad hoc projects.
Skills / Software Requirements:
Ability to work well in a hybrid work environment in both a team and individual setting.
Good communication and organization skills.
Proficiency with spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Prior work experience, especially in a corporate environment, a plus.
Education:
Currently pursuing an undergraduate business degree at a 4 year college or university.
Strong preference for accounting or finance majors or must have completed at least two college level accounting classes.
Minimum GPA 3.
5 on a 4.
