Summary:
Seeking a Sr.
Electrical Engineer with expertise in electrical design for manufacturing and industrial clients, power system distribution systems, and team leadership.
Requirements:
BS in Electrical Engineering & PE License10
years of experience in electrical design for manufacturing & industrial clientsProficiency in designing power, lighting, grounding and lightning protection, alarm systems, control systems for building equipment, communications, access controls and security systems.
Knowledge of large power transformers, power generation, transmission operation and maintenance of power system distribution systems (110vac to 138kvac), harmonic analysis, cable and buss capacity analysis, load flow analysis.
Familiarity with power system analysis software such as SKM Powertools or ETAPStrong knowledge of national safety electrical codes and standardsExperience working directly with clients (Scope & Specification Development)Proven experience leading teams and managing peoplePreferred Skills:
Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCADLEED accreditationAbility to work with coding and automationDesign automation skills including the application of parametric design tools such as Dynamo and GrasshopperSoftware Coding especially with Python or C#Experience with Revit's APIProficiency in Power BI for data visualization
Responsibilities:
Determine scope, budget and schedule for each taskPerform design work or assign tasks to team membersPrepare engineering reports, plans, specifications for projectsParticipate in contract bidding and administrationProvide leadership to engineers/designersSolve complex engineering problemsDesign electrical components/systems for industrial facilitiesEnsure compliance with codes requirements/standards on designsConduct inspections for quality control/assurance programsAssist in starting up commissioning of communication security instrumentation controls projects.
Pay Details:
$150,000.
00 to $180,000.
