IT Business System Analyst - Forecast to Plan (REMOTE) Chicago, IL, United States Job DescriptionThe Business Systems Analyst -Forecast to Plan will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and designing solutions to meet appropriate requirements, supporting the Global Demand Management and Global Operations teams.
Responsibilities Support the Global Demand Management and Global Operations requirements, ensuring SAP ECC and IBP configuration and Development are in place along with all interfaces (EDI, CPI-DS, SAP PO, etc.
) Work closely with all business groups and application developers to facilitate the development, design and support the functional areas including Demand planning, production planning, plant maintenance.
Gather requirements, contribute to design solutions, and resolve issues in a development and production support environment; conduct, coordinate and be accountable for testing and the effectiveness of user training, Process Documentation and System testing.
Work closely with local and international business groups and assist Key Users to manage Work Request (Development, Enhancements and Production Support) prioritization.
This process will include but not limited to:
Initial assessment of the request Documentation:
Requirements, Design, Testing and QA Evaluate the need for additional assistance within and outside the team.
Follow the standard procedures to seek other associates' input and help bring any and all business requests within Forecast to production areas to closure.
Prioritization with business and update of status in Work request Database.
Experience in create Business Process and translate into data flows and system integration.
Experience with supply chain management, plant maintenance and intercompany sales.
Document process flows, requirements, play back requirements to users and make necessary adjustments to be able to start on design specifications and estimate effort.
Project work management to support work requests activity planning and establish time schedules.
Written and oral communication with all levels of the organization.
Qualifications Experience in working in SAP ECC and IBP Able to communicate at all levels of the organization with effectiveness.
Able to identify gaps and working with technical team to define technical requirements.
Skills in testing and evaluation of new computer system functionality Business process analysis, documentation, and presentation.
Interaction with users from various functional areas (Demand management, production planning, maintenance, intercompany) Tracking progress of offshore development team.
Interaction with technical resources Development of functional requirements specification, including business impact and ROI.
Develop procedures, processes and guidelines that are efficient and focused on the quality of the process or end-state deliverable.
Troubleshoot and fix transactions errors with internal users, customers, and vendors.
