Senior Virtualization Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Virtualization Engineer with a key focus on VMWare processes. Our client, a world famous financial firm,is seeking an engineer to join the team while moving through a major cloud transformation.Ideal candidates will have 7
years experience within systems/infrastructure roles with a mix of on-prem and AWS systems.
Responsibilities:
Support UCS - VMWare environments. Support VXRail VDI environments. Automate processes in the VMWare environments - experience with IaC (Terraform/ Ansible is a must). Troubleshoots production problems. Develop baselines, evaluate, and rectify vulnerabilities and security findings. Familiar with using PowerCLI/Powershell to manage a VMware environment. Experience in Disaster Recovery processes. Candidates must be able to work on a hybrid working arrangement 3x's a week in Chicago.
