Director of Information Sciences Mid-size law firm Chicago, IL Our prominent and highly awarded mid-size Chicago full-service law firm is hiring an experienced law firm Director of Information Sciences.
The Director will be responsible for the overall operations and development of the firm's Information Services.
Will manage the Firm's computer systems and overall information services function to meet the goals and objectives of the Firm.

Responsibilities:
Installs and supports hardware and software for file and print servers.
Provider user administration (adds, changes, deletes, disk space management, backups, and file restores).
Implement changes to servers, gateways, and workstations.
Works closely with client departments to define requirements regarding platforms, software, hardware, etc.
Performs short and long range planning regarding changing requirements.
Researches emerging technologies and recommends innovations.
Identify and resolves problems at end-user support level.
Develops and implements policies, standards, and procedures for end0user computing applications.
Prepares annual budget.
Supervises Systems Engineer, Telecommunications Analyst, Information Services Trainer.
REQUIREMENTS:
College degree Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience.
Law firm experience preferred.
Management experience; professional.
Excellent oral, written communication, organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical and financial skills.
Ability to work effectively with attorneys and staff.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
