Role DescriptionThis is a contract role for a Mechanical Engineer at BAKS Medical.
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as mechanical design, machine design, computer-aided design (CAD), project management, and research and development (R&D).
This is a hybrid role that is located in Chicago, IL, with flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design skills Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Experience in Project Management Research and Development (R&D) experience Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment Experience in the medical device industry is a plus Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Must provide portfolio for review.
