HRUCKUS seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our client's dynamic team for an exciting project. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco technologies. The candidate should be adept at handling complex network configurations, troubleshooting network issues, and working with various Cisco devices. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) level concepts, particularly routing and switching.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Design, configure, and maintain complex network solutions involving Cisco routers, switches, and multi-context firewalls. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network solutions integration into larger IT environments. Program and troubleshoot multi-context Cisco firewalls, layer 3 switches, and routers configured with multiple Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF) instances. Utilize Cisco Web Security Appliance (WSA), Email Security Appliance (ESA), Firepower Management Center (FMC), and Identity Services Engine (ISE) to enhance network security and performance. Manage and maintain x509 certificates for security and authentication purposes for machines and users. Provide expertise in network optimization, performance tuning, and capacity planning. Participate in the on-call rotation for timely response to network emergencies and incidents. Position Requirements:
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification is mandatory. 10 years of proven experience in programming and troubleshooting multi-context Cisco firewalls, layer 3 switches, and routers with VRF configurations. 5 years of professional experience working with Cisco WSA, ESA, FMC, and ISE platforms. 5 years of professional experience generating and renewing x509 certificates to ensure robust security and authentication mechanisms. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address complex network issues independently. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating network vulnerabilities. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). A strong understanding of Red Hat administration is a plus. Position Details:
