SAP Administrator/Project Manager

The SAP Administrator / Project Manager will play a crucial role in daily support and administration of our SAP public cloud instance. This individual will provide administrative support, coordinate with external vendors (AMS), develop reports and queries, and project manage future system enhancements. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a deep understanding of SAP systems and processes. This role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and work very closely with all departments across the organization.Responsibilities1. SAP Administration:
Manage day-to-day administration tasks of the SAP public cloud instance, including user management, system configurations, and security settings. 2. Support Coordination:
Serve as the primary point of contact for coordination with the external Application Management Services (AMS) provider responsible for hosting our SAP system. Manage tickets, requests, and escalations to ensure timely resolution of issues and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).3. Report and Query Development:
Develop and maintain customized reports and queries within the SAP system to meet business requirements. Utilize SAP reporting tools and technologies to extract data and assist internal stakeholders.4. Project Management:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of future system enhancements and upgrades. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish timelines. Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget while meeting quality standards.5. System Optimization:
Identify opportunities for process improvements, system optimization, and automation with the SAP environment. Proactively address performance issues, system errors, and bottlenecks to enhance overall system efficiency and reliability.6. Documentation and Training:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP configurations, processes and procedures. Provide training and support to end-users to promote system proficiency and continued education. Qualifications o Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field o Proficiency in SAP ECC or S/4HANA modules and functionalities o Strong understanding of SAP public cloud solutions and architecture. o 5
years of experience in SAP administration, project management, or a similar role o Experience working with external vendors and AMS providers. o Prior experience in a manufacturing environment. o Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. o Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues. o SAP certification(s) preferred but not required.
