Position
Summary:
Create a positive first impression by quickly welcoming every guest with a smile.
Effectively and efficiently seat guests.
Assist service team in delivering a positive dining experience.
Monitor dining room flow and manage an accurate wait list.
Work from verbal and written orders:
Greet guests, ask seating preference and usher to appropriate table.
Review current guest seating assignments and seat new guests according to availability and equity of assignment in each station.
Promote upcoming and current specials/events and distribute menus to guests while seating them.
Distribute special children premiums such as coloring books and balloons Assist guests with special requests or needs.
Ensure menus are clean and contain appropriate panels and information.
Monitor guest waiting list.
Responsible for daily cleaning checklists.
Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of the front entrance, work area, games arena, display cases and the bathrooms.
Assist wait staff, food runners and bus persons in duties as requested.
Use POS System, calculator, phone and common cleaning supplies.
Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Food Handler certification Safety shoes Constantly be able to lift, reach, bend and stoop.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
Frequently be able to safely lift bags, cases, and stack weight up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Have working knowledge of the predominant language(s) of our guests.
Must be available to work weekends and evening shifts.
