Associate Supply Planner

The Vendor Performance Management team is responsible for the efficient replenishment of product into the Regional Distribution Centers.
The primary role of the Associate Supply Planner is to aid in the development of replenishment plans based on sales forecasts, shipment histories, and merchandising and marketing plans.
The planner executes the supply plan by issuing and tracking purchase orders into the Regional Distribution Centers.
This position manages efficient inventory levels.
The associate supply planner develops and maintains relationships with supply chain planning partners and transactional vendors.
With general guidance, this role determines decisions that impact the supply plan.
Communicates decisions to stakeholders.
May work on small projects and other supply chain initiatives as needed.
Responsibilities (May perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned).
1.
Participates in cross functional meetings to effectively communicate with Merchandising, Vendors, Distribution and Transportation to maximize inbound fill rate and improve inbound efficiencies.
May lead some non-complex meetings.

Communicates supply issues with customers through product codes, written and verbal communication 3.
Resolves performance issues and acts as a liaison between internal & external stakeholders and vendors to manage communications and improve vendor fill rate performance.
4.
Determines root cause for supply chain issues and appropriately engages business partners to resolve issues as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Escalates complex issues as needed.
5.
Negotiates with suppliers to meet service requirements and manage inbound flows.
6.
Uses and maintains current replenishment planning systems to create efficient orders, using established processes.
7.
Participates in supply chain process improvements related to replenishment activities and collaborates with other Supply Planners on best practices related to supply planning processes.
8.
Plans, executes, monitors, and manages some less-complex supply chain processes to improve key metrics.
Education & Experience o Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
o 0-2 years of experience, preferably in Inventory, Merchandising, Supply Chain, or similar industry.
o Knowledge of JDA Replenishment or equivalent Replenishment System.
o Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
o Strong analytical and collaboration skills.
