This is a hybrid position (some office hours some at home hours).

WHAT YOU DO Full charge accounting for the main company and two small subsidiaries.
Accounts receivable Accounts payable Payroll Billing Cash application Maintaining tax compliance through payroll management Reconciling accounts Monitoring and managing cash flow Maintain sales tax compliance Prepare budgets Prepare financial statements Basic HR Benefits administration General office management Occasional special projects for company owner ABOUT YOU 5 to 10 years experience with full charge bookkeeping Minimum of 5 years experience with Quick Books (all modules) Minimum of 5 years experience with basic office administration including HR duties and benefits Good MS Excel skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Great attention to detail We are located in the west part of Chicago zip code 60639 in the Belmont Cragin area on West Grand Ave.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
