The Role:
The Senior Manager, IT Business Relationship Manager is a pivotal role within the Information Technology team, acting as a strategic partner and main link between IT and specific business functions.
This leader collaborates closely with the leadership team of the designated business line, representing them in interactions with the IT group and overseeing all IT-related matters.
The position holds a strategic responsibility for developing a clear vision and direction for IT within the represented business line(s), implementing transformative technology solutions, and aligning IT initiatives with business needs such as efficiency improvement, cost optimization, risk management, and compliance.
The Senior Manager advocates for the business's IT investment, supports corporate and cross-business initiatives, and ensures adherence to IT strategy, standards, and methodology.
Key responsibilities include designing annual roadmaps and budgets for aligned business areas, overseeing delivery, managing conflict resolution, influencing the forward vision of business areas, and fostering partnerships with key stakeholders.
The role requires a proactive approach to assessing and influencing current and future business capabilities and driving technology-oriented changes for tangible benefits.
Responsibilities:
Develops and executes an IT strategy for business line(s) by collaborating with key stakeholders and integrating technology-driven solutions.
Manages IT service relationships with business systems executives, managers, and staff.
Consults with business line(s) to understand complex business needs and their impact on systems.
Collaborates on business requirements and functional specifications with systems users, management and technical subject matter experts.
Monitors project delivery and ensures business commitments are met.
Engages in industry networks to stay informed on standards, trends, and best practices.
Positions IT as a driver of continuous improvement, applying knowledge to enhance business processes and user experience.
Works with Technology teams to articulate technical requirements for roadmap initiatives.
Contributes to business case development by analyzing business value, benefits, risks, and costs.
Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technology-related discipline.
3-5
years of progressive leadership experience in IT, specifically in application development and/or project management.
Strong background in Technology Strategy and Business Strategy, ideally from a top-tier consultancy firm.
Project Management certification and/or significant experience.
Agile software development methodology certification and/or substantial experience with Agile methodologies.
Proven organizational skills, demonstrating leadership in unstructured environments with minimal guidance.
Foundation in application development with a focus on creativity and innovation in system solutions.
Experience with technical alternatives and basic knowledge of emerging technologies desired.
Proven project management skills, ensuring on-time delivery and effective interaction with project teams.
Proactive in identifying and anticipating future business system needs, guiding the development of the Business IT agenda.
Ability to understand IT services and factors affecting delivery based on customer requirements.
Influential leadership, able to drive change without direct authority.
Open to travel.

Qualifications:
Master s degree (MBA or Technical) preferred.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Strategic thinker translating strategy into tactical actions, demonstrating excellent judgment.
Takes independent action and demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness, innovation, and dependability.
Excellent attention to detail.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
