Senior Product Manager, US Middle Market

As a Industry Practice Manager supporting the Middle Market organization, you will play an integral role in AXA XL s US go-to-market strategy and drive product development and key capabilities to ensure success in target industry sectors within North America.
You will leverage your technical expertise and underwriting experience in the Technology, Financial Institutions and Professional Services industry segments to deliver profitable growth.
DISCOVER your opportunity What will your essential responsibilities include? Work in close collaboration with Product and Underwriting counterparts as well as broker partners to identify and develop products, key coverages, and endorsements that will differentiate our offering in the market within your assigned industry segments Drive underwriting strategy and risk selection through understanding of the competitive marketplace, preferred risk characteristics, lessons from loss trends, and competitor offerings Provide underwriting guidance and training to underwriters as well as handling referrals and complex account queries Collaborate effectively with aligned Actuarial support and drive key strategies and rating initiatives to ensure competitiveness of pricing and the appropriate level of pricing sophistication to enable growth at profitable returns Establish strong working relationships with cross-functional groups including Claims, Compliance, Regulatory, Legal and other functions to engage and collaborate on issues and emerging trends related to your aligned industry sectors Work on behalf of Middle Market team and underwriters as liaison on compliance topics, review all regulatory and compliance components of products the business intends to write, and advise on any business strategies that require input from regulatory or compliance Represent AXA XL as a subject matter expert and thought leader at industry conferences enabling the organization to see around corners and stay ahead of industry trends and emerging risks Bring an entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to lean into opportunities outside your specific areas of responsibility in support of our overall Middle Market buildYou will report to the Head of Product & Analytics.

Eight or more years of Commercial Property & Casualty insurance experience in the field of product management, product development, underwriting or referral underwriting with a focus on the Financial Institutions, Technology, and Professional Services industry segments and the Middle Market account space Minimum education requires a College Degree with relevant experience.
Ability to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing Team player who takes initiative and is able to work independently Strong analytical skills Able to manage time, meet deadlines and adjust to competing priorities Understanding of the need for accurate and timely management information; effectively manages up and escalates issues that may impact business strategies or operational goals FIND your futureAXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is known for solving complex risks.

Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual s skills, experience, and location.
