Sr. Manager, Software Engineering - Digital Banking Platform (#Hybrid Chicago near O'Hare Airport)

The Sr Manager, of Software Engineering for Digital Banking Platforms.
Will lead the mobile banking and online banking strategy through the management of a team of Software Engineers, mobile developers, API Evangelists, and Staff Augmentation resources.
This position requires a candidate to have an established background in managing the development of financial industry digital banking solutions, agile software development, excellent project management skills, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
ResponsibilitiesSoftware Development and Support Responsibilities (50%):
Conduct a detailed analysis of system interactions to determine technical solutionsResolve cost-effective problems consistent with user needs, system capacities, and capabilitiesManage code reviews to ensure code meets company development standards.
Manage execution against project plans and delivery commitmentsDefine tasks, milestones, and deliverables that meet stated project objectivesManage the day-to-day activities of the engineering team and vendor within an Agile/Scrum environmentManaging departmental resources, hiring, mentoring, and enhancing and maintaining best-of-class product development teamsWork closely with the engineers and product managers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach, ensuring proper monitoring and alerts are in placePrepare and present comprehensive scope and definition documents that detail project objectives, scope, reporting strategy, resource requirements, and stakeholders.
Identify staffing resources requirements and skill sets required to meet project goalsDevelop and maintain project schedules and manage resources, including coordinating time tracking for team members, adjusting assignments to accommodate issues, scope or timeline changes, revising work estimates, and/or resource availability constraintsCollect and analyze actual costs, time, and scope to ensure delivery against the operating planDeveloped and maintained risk analyses, risk mitigation strategy, capacity plan, and issue logsManage consulting services, including developing statements of work, engagement, and management of contractors, and monitoring of work against the SOWSpecify the quality assurance process to ensure the project deliverables' overall quality and continual improvementStrategy, Planning and Support (50%):
Responsible for managing the Software Development corporate and technology goals of multiple high-level projectsTechnical Product Owner of the digital banking platform project roadmapConduct feasibility and requirements meetings with project owners to support the requirements engineering processAct as liaison between Business users and the Project Development TeamAct as liaison for all third-party API integration partnershipsAccountable for the configuration of all public-facing digital platformsMentor Business users on proper procedures for Information Systems related projects, including requirements definition and testingDevelop and maintain project schedules and manage resources, including coordinating time tracking for team members, adjusting assignments to accommodate issues, scope or timeline changes, revising work estimates, and/or resource availability constraintsPrepare presentations and business cases for sponsors and stakeholder groupsDevelop and maintain a Software Development Strategic PlanPerformance Management Responsibilities (all times):

Experience:
PM for Software Development projects using a formal software lifecycle development methodology and project management Experience in managing React, Angular, iOS, and Android development environmentsExperience in managing the implementation of SaaS-based digital banking platformsExperience working with API management tools such as MuleSoftDemonstrable experience in developing scalable mobile/web applications and SCRUM/Agile development, with a drive for building high-quality and maintainable systems of varying complexityEducation:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
