Summary:
Our award-winning client is seeking a Project Manager to join their team.
We're seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our Chicago team.
You'll take the lead on municipal, transportation, and site development projects, guiding them from concept to completion.
Your expertise will be crucial in coordinating teams, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring client satisfaction
Responsibilities:
Oversee all project phases, from scoping and budgeting to execution and closeout.
Assemble and lead project teams, including engineers, designers, and contractors.
Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
Be the main client contact, keeping them informed, addressing concerns, and exceeding expectations.
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for project success.
Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, plans, and drawings.
Collaborate with stakeholders like government agencies, regulators, and communities to secure necessary permits.
Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or a related field) with 8-12 years of experience.
Proven track record of managing successful civil engineering projects - transportation, stormwater, urban development are all a plus! Experience overseeing staff and clients, along with managing budgets and schedules.
A Professional Engineer (P.
E.
) license is mandatory.
Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively guide teams and engage stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on achieving project goals and delivering quality results.
Proficiency in project management software, tools, and AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
