--------This is NOT a seasonal position -------- About This Position We are seeking to hire a dog walker to work Tuesdays & Thursdays for a couple of hours.
It'll be a mix of a pack walk & individual dog walks.
Individual pack walks are typically 30-60 minutes.
Pack walks are with the doggy daycare dogs and range from 60-75 minutes.
This is a CONTRACTOR position.
You will be compensated per walk you complete.
There will be opportunities for growth About Us Fire Hydrant Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare is located in Old Town Chicago near Clybourn & Division.
We are a 10-minute walk from the North & Clybourn Station Red Line, and a 12-minute walk from the Sedgwick Station Brown Line.
All positions at Fire Hydrant Doggy Daycare are either contractor or part-time.
No full-time positions exist.
We are a 5-Star Rated pet care company Woman and Black Owned & Operated Business Business Hours are Monday - Friday, closed during the weekends and major holidays.
We specialize in various Pet Care needs such as Doggy Daycare, Enrichment, and Socialization.
Responsibilities Time management Implementing safety procedures and protocols Communicating effectively with the team Being accountable Walking the dogs for 2 to 3 miles Leash training Picking up after pets (Yes we are talking about their poop!) Taking pictures of the dogs Experience & Skills Problem solver Experience and/or comfortability with aggressive and strong breeds (St.
Bernard, Cane Corso, Pit Bulls, Great Danes, German Shepherds) Being able to speak dog -- reading their body language Must love getting licks from your four legged clients Reliable Tech Savvy (this is a must!
