Human Resources Director

Master's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field SPHR Preferred Minimum of 5 years administration experience and knowledgeable of the health care industry Reports To Chief Executive Officer Summary Responsible for all Human Resources activities of the company.
Provide strategic HR leadership while being involved in the administration of several HR functions, including employee relations, compensation, compliance and employee benefits.
Will be heavily involved in creating and updating policies and procedures and recommending HR best practices to the management team.
Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and directions for Human Resources Staff.
Submit a monthly analysis report (Dashboard) of trends, challenges and recommendations to the CEO.
Work closely with CEO, Director of Compliance and General Counsel to address all personnel grievances, claims and legal depositions.
Develop and implement employee relations programs that will create a positive organization structure by conducting site visits, attend management meetings and employee meetings.
Conduct employee surveys regarding employee benefits and overall employee satisfaction.
Analyze and generate reports based on information gathered from employee surveys.
Create effective ways to improve employee morale.
Create a comprehensive employee policies and procedures manual.
Review and revise all policies and procedures to ensure they align with agency practices as well as current Federal, State and Local laws and regulations.
Implement benefit plans that are customer driven and financially cost effective to the agency.
Educate staff on plan benefits and options, initiate open enrollment process, and facilitate any employee concerns with broker and/or other benefit vendors.
Seek additional plan options to increase employee participation.
Consult with the Finance Department to ensure benefit deductions are timely and accurate.
Coordinate with Finance, Development and Programmatic departments to ensure that salaries are in line with grants, budgets and agency guidelines without creating inequitable circumstances.
Coach management on developing employees by utilizing techniques that will provide detailed feedback to staff.
Assist managers with managing poor performing employees and create positive ways to improve performance.
Keep managers abreast of evaluation and PIC deadlines.
Review all recommendations for termination.
When necessary, direct supervisors and employees to mediation or further efforts to retain manageable employees.
When appropriate, refer the recommendation to the Senior Management Team for final disposition.
Timely and accurate completion of clinical credentialing in accordance with Federal Tort Claims Act Standards (FTCA).
Frequently monitor PINS/PALS to ensure credentialing and Human Resources policies are compliant Ensure that Human Resources practice and written procedures are adherent with HRSA Compliance Manual and the Code of Federal Regulations Draft policies and other structural changes are presented to the CEO prior to implementation.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
