Academic Pulmonologists - Medical Intensive Care Unit

The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine, is searching for full-time faculty to provide patient care in the pulmonary outpatient clinic at our Hyde Park campus and provide inpatient clinical coverage for the MICU, procedure and pulmonary consult services. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must:
1) have a medical degree or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be BC/BE in Pulmonary and Critical Care medicine.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
