Department OverviewThe Command and Control team develops software for public safety organizations to manage public safety responders workflow and operational intelligence management.
We build products to serve large cities that need sophisticated, customized workflows to smaller municipalities that need cost effective, end to end solutions.
All of our systems are built scalable and highly reliable.
We provide both cloud and on-premises solutions.
These efforts are all in support of our cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions for public safety customers.
This team is part of the Software Enterprise division, which offers secure, reliable and efficient team communications, and records and evidence solutions for critical public safety and enterprise markets throughout the world.
Our services use cloud computing infrastructure on Azure to build at scaleJob DescriptionAs Engineering Manager, you will lead the US-based scrum team responsible for development and maintenance of Interfaces for CAD systems to Integrate with 3rd party vendors/product.
You will be expected to demonstrate excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
You will lead the definition of engineering requirements, architecture, establish processes and engage in planning of engineering deliverables for the team.
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
Bachelor's degree, emphasis on Engineering, Computer Science or a related field5
years of industry software engineering experience including programming1
years of experience leading development teamsSuccessful track record in developing high performing software teams through hiring, retaining and mentoring team membersUnderstanding of software production process and toolchain:
development environments, version control, testing, cybersecurity and deployment processesStrong verbal and written communication and presentation skillsUnblock teams by providing the resources required for them to be successfulPreferred
Qualifications:
Experience in communicating with customers and product management to understand use cases, describe software product features and designsExperience in attracting, hiring and building a team of talented developersThis position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
