Boulder, Colorado / Chicago, IllinoisRegions Combine Development /Full-Time /HybridBelvedere Trading is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with quantitative modeling experience to aid in the research and development of our fully automated market-making system.
The Senior Java Engineer is responsible for working directly with leaders, software engineers, and quantitative researchers within our research department to implement high-throughput valuation models in a cloud-native environment.
You will be working to design and implement modeling system details, optimize systems to sustain hundreds of terabytes of throughput and assist in integration of cloud-scale technologies into a latency-sensitive trading platform.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, eager to contribute to a rapidly growing team, has sound technical knowledge, and possesses exceptional communication skills.
What You'll Do Build a suite of software using Java, Flink, and Pulsar to identify pricing inefficiencies in live trading marketsAssist with development of in-house hybrid cloud application frameworksUnderstand the full lifecycle and intricacies of a trading platformInteract with hybrid cloud messaging, data, observability, and deployment platformsShare ideas, experience, and knowledge with other members of the teamProvide feedback to leadership on team health and processes to continuously improve productivity, tooling, and code qualityCoordinate directly with stakeholders and firm leaders to plan work and design solutionsWhat You'll Need 4
years developing applications using Java2

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
