Instructional Designer

Designs and develops impactful instructor-led and eLearning training programs that provide employees with essential tools for job success. Training materials are to enable learners to apply what they have learned to establish or improve job performance.
Partners with subject matter experts and business leaders to determine and implement impactful learning solutions.
Leads cross functional teams to solve performance and learning challenges. Leads the learning needs analysis process for assigned curriculums and projects. Evaluates needs by applying appropriate professional learning methodologies and effective facilitation skills. Methodologies include ADDIE, Critical mistakes, Gap analysis, and various process improvement methods.
Determines training plans to address performance gaps or opportunities for improved business results.
Creates materials using all delivery platforms. Platforms include instructor led, eLearning, virtual, SOJT (structured on the job training), webinar, video, job aids/electronic job aids. Chooses the most effective platform for specific curriculums, courses and business needs.
Incorporates most effective teaching methods and taxonomy (exercises, tell show do, teach backs, role plays etc ) for specific lessons.
Develops measurement and accountability mechanisms that evaluate job readiness or performance and enable continuous improvement.
Trains other trainers to deliver material effectively as designed.
Performs project management role by publishing timelines and assigning tasks to ensure planned completion of design projects.
Teaches assigned subjects and performs subject matter expert role for one or more business functions.

Education/Training:
Masters Degree or equivalent in Instructional Design, Training and Development or Workforce Education.
Related
Experience:
5 - 8 years of progressive needs analysis, instructional design, material development, instruction, eLearning, training implementation, measurement systems and learning project management. Supply chain, distribution and process improvement experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Proficient with
Well versed in Adult Learning principles and teaching methods.
Versed in appropriate organization of training materials (Blooms Taxonomy).
Proficient in ADDIE process and needs analysis tools such as gap analysis, critical mistakes, 5 why etc.
Implementing learning measurement and demonstration mechanisms. Versed in Kirkpatrick's learning evaluation model.
Expertise/experience creating learning with most platforms:
instructor led, eLearning, Virtual, SOJT (Structured on the job training), Webinar, Video, Job Aids/Electronic job aids.
Accomplished trainer and facilitator, strong speaker.
Ability to influence others.
Articulate Studio suite, Camtasia or Captivate, Snagit.
Advance PowerPoint skills.
Ability to create and incorporate effective and attractive graphics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Supply chain knowledge/ experience, project management or process improvement mechanisms are a significant plus.
Candidate must have examples of materials he/she has designed and developed.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
