Department overview
The Corporate Systems IT team has two groups, Oracle and Non-Oracle based systems. This role is responsible for supporting the Non-Oracle systems which include Flight Profitability, Cargo Accounting, Domestic Tax, Fuel Pricing and Accounting and Treasury. The Oracle team support several Financial groups which primarily utilize Oracle ERP modules such as AP, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory, etc.
Job overview and responsibilities
Senior developer for 1 or 2 business areas where the majority of the applications are packaged software hosted either in-house or with vendors. Utilize technical expertise in a variety of technical platforms to design automated solutions for enhancements. Also utilize technical skills to design and code solutions for minor changes and enhancements.
Coordinate all IT work efforts with business, multiple technical groups and software vendors 50%
Provide technical expertise in design and execution toward project and other work efforts 30%
Develop technical solutions to assist team with timely solutions for business partners 20%
Required
5 or more years of leading project teams
Bachelor's degree
Demonstrate team leader skills and success factors
Demonstrate exceptional organization and planning skills
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
Exceptional collaboration skills with IT and business partners
Experienced developer using ASP.NET and SQL Server
Experience developing in XML and Java
Experience with interfacing to Oracle ERP & OBIEE Reporting
Experience with BRIO & Crystal Reporting
Experience with networks, firewalls, SFTP and Citrix
Familiar with Security Compliance regulations such as PCI & SOX
Preferred
Experience using project Web Application (PWA)
