Epic Certified Application Analyst - (Associate, Analyst and Senior Levels)

Description:
Serves as primary support contact for the application. Performs in-depth analysis of work flows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with the software. Coordinates all issues that arise within the specific applications areas. Knowledgeable of organization policies, procedures and business operations.
Essential Functions:
The Epic Clinical position requires direct interaction with other team members and end-users in order to understand business problems and help to identify solutions. In this position you will also be required to identify, analyze, escalate and resolve critical initiative risks and issue appropriately. This position will also require an understanding of the project requirements, standards and guidelines. In addition you will provide timely and complete documentation for system requirements, release notes, test plans, training content, etc. as required. Support and participate in knowledge-sharing with other support and technical teams within NM. Ability to be on call as required.

Ability to implement and troubleshoot computer systems and interfaces is essential.
Ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts and maintain issues lists.
Detail oriented and able to analyze and identify the underlying needs of the organization and the user community.
Skilled in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Must become Epic certified in application supported within specified timeline.
Requires travel to Epic headquarters in Verona, WI to attend training classes
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with proven track record of contributing in a team environment
Effective communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
Ability to negotiate and manage multiple priorities, while meeting agreed-to deadlines.
Ability to understand clinical workflows
Ability to maintain organizational and patient confidentiality. Understanding of HIPAA requirements.
Additional Module Requirements Below:
Cupid
EPIC CUPID Certified analyst with at least 2 years experience. Preferred experience in design and implementation in a multi-facility health system. Knowledge of managing visit type/scheduling customization. Knowledge of structured reporting for Cath Lab (also for hybrid/shared invasive Lab, EPS and IR. Experience with invasive lab charging and coding workflows.
OpTime/Anesthesia
Certified in both OpTime and Anesthesia with current NVTs
Minimum 2-to-3 years of hands-on design and build experience
Minimum of one complete Epic install. More is ideal.
Experience managing large projects and teams
Extensive knowledge in all topics of OpTime and Anesthesia functionality and implementation, including: device integration, interfaces, data migration, patient movement, phases of care, charging, and users and security build
Cadence
Significant Hospital Build experience before Physician/Ambulatory; Advanced build with work queues, advanced questionnaires, ABN, MSP build experience.
Radiant certification/Scheduling build a plus.
Prelude
At least 2 years build experience including MSPQ
Reporting workbench a plus
Professional Billing
Certified in PB
Focus on integrated charging workflows across most specialties with a focus on PB, charging analysis, charge router analysis, design, and configuration, general PB application knowledge
Orders Analyst
At least 2 years of epic build experience in Orders
Stork Analyst
At least 2 years of epic build experience in Stork

Our day to day activities include build, support (working help desk queue), and working/collaborating within our team and other teams across IS.
Certification in that Epic Module
Experience with Implementation and/or support
Troubleshooting experience/skills

Qualifications:
BS or BA in healthcare related field or business or equivalent job experience.
Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience in an IT application role (Epic experience preferred)
Qualified candidates must have computer systems knowledge and be able to demonstrate project management skills.
