Job Description General Purpose of the Job:
Salesforce Product Manager has the overall responsibility of serving as the strategic interface and business relationship link with business line leadership for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, solution overview, service management, vendor management, risk management and relationship management.
The Salesforce PM provides highly valued strategic consulting level support and guidance through key IT initiatives, with a focus on the business line regional and global priorities.
They communicate decisions, priorities and relevant project information to appropriate levels of staff regarding business unit requests and projects and initiatives.
They proactively share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of business units.
They partner with business leadership and other key stakeholders to define opportunities and identify and prioritize projects based on predefined criteria (e.
g.
return on investment, productivity, compliance).
The Salesforce PM proactively serves as a trusted advisor, and is the primary IT point of contact for both the business line leadership and solution providers.
They operate as the key business contact representing IT in promoting IT services and capabilities, driving value by ensuring the delivery of technology products meet the needs of the business.
The Salesforce PM focuses on strategic initiatives and planning activities for their business area.
The Salesforce PM leads and presents quarterly technology roadmaps to their business unit to reflect status and alignment with objectives.
They strive to understand market challenges, including customer priorities and competitive issues.
Product Managers are proactive and anticipatory in their thinking.
They are, by nature, driven and provide significant value to business units.
Product Managers drive technology adoption within the business line and engage suitable resources/teams to develop tactical plans to support adoption targets.
They serve a lead role in enabling the business to achieve their objectives through the effective use of technology.
The Salesforce PM is responsible for the management of business line products and technologies and for managing the solution teams, both internal and external.
In a Director role, they are defining and driving the roadmaps, budgets and resources.
Specific Deliverables:
Align V2020 and beyond global technology goals with business line specific technology objectives Define and build business line technology roadmaps meeting V2020 targets Develop, track and manage the roadmaps for regional and global products including:
o Resources & budgets o Pilot programs and roll-out strategies (including sunsetting existing products) o Vendor management Continuous evaluation of roadmaps and objectives; adjust quarterly as required Quarterly roadmap/technology presentations to business leadership o Work with the business to define 'success' (is it adoption? measured business-value? Productivity? etc.
) o Status of technology (what technologies/tools are they using? where are the gaps? what's needed to close the gap? etc.
) Create Business/Market Project Charters and obtain business approval Review business-technology roadmaps presentation with Technology leaders; work with Technology managers to adjust their platforms and product portfolios as required Alignment with IT Adoption & with Marketing on specific market engagement strategies Skills, Experience & Training Salesforce implementation experience Demonstrated ability to communicate and show value of technology to business leadership Direct Management of Business and IT staff Ability to anticipate technology needs based on market trends and changes within the business Ability to translate business process into high-level technology goals for Platform Managers Minimum of 8 - 10 years working within Information Technology and/or a Business function delivering technology value to users Experience with global implementations Experience presenting technology topics to a range of audiences BS in Computer Science or Business field, Masters' is a plus.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
