Print Production and Integrated Marketing Manager

Job Description The Manager, Print Production & Integrated Marketing serves as our internal manager for Potbelly brand related projects including in-shop signage/promotion materials, external advertising/communication (digital, social, mobile, print, out of home, transit, website, app), team apparel and local neighborhood programs. They are our print production specialist, managing day-to-day workflow for the entire print production process (budgeting, pre-press, printing, and fulfillment) done by our virtual agency consisting of in-house creative team and external design, digital and production freelancers. This position works closely with the senior Marketing Team to develop marketing strategies for use in preparing creative briefs and providing creative direction to the designers. They ensure that processes are in place so all marketing creative projects achieve strong brand identity and consistency and are completed on-time, within budget and reach our shops hassle-free. Manage Print & Integrated Marketing Production Process Develop and maintain timelines, shop configuration report and status of all projects Manage entire production process for any printed materials (prepress, printing, finishing, kit packing, shipping and job reconciliation), digital, social and video creative Build and maintain strong supplier relationships Ensure strict adherence of approval processes; improve processes when necessary Review keylines and approve proofs; verify delivery of files to print, traditional, digital and social media vendors Coordinate print fulfillment and distribution of programs and variable print items Track and deliver, proofs, samples, and final product (on-time, in-full, within budget) Develop, manage and recommend collateral specs, printing methods and color libraries Estimate and manage print budgets Drive new ideas and innovation, researching and recommending new cost effective printing and/or digital production techniques Coach & Collaborate Manage workflow of the in-house and external creative, digital and production team Supervise Marketing Coordinator, building their competence, confidence and capability, while ensuring clear direction and timely follow through Work with the Senior Marketing Team to help develop marketing strategies and tactics Play a cross-functional role working with other departments within the company, including neighborhood marketing, operations, ops services, accounting and finance Identify new formats and ways of communicating with customers that Potbelly is their neighborhood sandwich shop Drive Sales & Profit Manage vendor quotes and prepare estimates for approval Manage vendor invoice approval Maintain detailed records/files of estimates, invoices, communications, proofs and related project information Reconcile all costs associated with projects Increase sales by leading execution of external marketing communications elements that drive traffic to our shops We are incredibly proud of our great food -- create great marketing materials that are equally great. Requirements Key Skills Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced, rapidly growing environment including management of timelines, budgets, priority setting, and resource plans (utilizing internal and external personnel) High level of creativity and understanding of creative process An energetic leader who can get the most out of people and build a strong team Process oriented. Create ways and methods to replicate high quality results on an ongoing basis Very strong communication skills, both written and oral Not afraid to get into details to get things done Must represent Potbelly Values BA Degree in Marketing or Communications 3-6 years marketing experience Restaurant industry experience or other retail multi-unit experience a plus Broad range of experience managing creative development for traditional consumer marketing communications including in-store merchandising, direct marketing, promotions, radio, out-of-home, signage, local/special events marketing Solid understanding/knowledge of non-traditional/digital marketing communications including email marketing, website, social and digital media Have led teams in either an ad agency or consumer business Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to interact with all levels of a company. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
