Beverage Director

Mission To consistently win one customer at a time through teamwork and living "The Levy Difference." Major Areas of Responsibility All performance standards are achieved through the use of Core Signature Guidelines. Operations Coordinates the development and implementation of beverage programs that support concept clarity and take advantage of local beverage opportunities Ensures the implementation of all corporate annual beverage program initiatives Provides necessary beverage training with emphasis on sales, service, and product knowledge to ensure operational success Creates concept appropriate wine list enhancements, beverage lists, recipes and menu collateral In conjunction with the location Alcohol Safety Coordinator, maintains on-site Responsible Alcohol Service training as outlined in the IPOE Ensures show quality standards are maintained at all times Completes all projects in a timely and professional manner Controls Provides the necessary beverage cost management tools to operations for successful cost management Ensures beverage cost and operational efficiency and great guest beverage experience by providing standard operating procedures and ongoing training for team members Obtains beverage sales targets and controls assigned cost areas of beverage responsibilities as directed by Home Office Director of Beverage Ensures competitive pricing and product through regular research and is in compliance with Levy National Beverage Program Ensures all security, safety, and sanitation standards are met Maintains all beverage standards as outlined in the Beverage IPOE Effectively utilizes BOSS and other financial control systems Works with local supplier chain to ensure 'most favored nation' pricing, discounting and allocation Ensures continuity of retail pricing throughout location Works with location managers and team members to ensure proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment is practiced Team Maintains and perpetuates strong partnerships with vendors, and assists in the development of mutually beneficial programs Works to support the efforts of the location Alcohol Safety Coordinator Liaison with Home Office Director of Beverage and able to assist in various property openings, training and development as requested Interacts with and supports location management team through active communication and participation in meetings Maintains regular contact with location team members to promote a positive guest experience Promotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale Required Skills Ability to taste and evaluate food and beverage products to Levy standards Possess extensive wine, beer and beverage spirits knowledge Possess knowledge of applicable local, state, federal, province and other applicable laws within the location's jurisdiction Proficient in public speaking Must be flexible with work and travel schedule May be required to perform diverse physical tasks Stamina to work 60 hours or more per week Ability to use hands in using office equipment, including the computer system Close vision and focus capabilities to view computer screen and company documents Possesses extensive computer knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and more) Ability to remain seated for an extended time Able to communicate effectively with managers, guests and teammates by speaking and comprehending English English reading, writing, and math skills required Possible job hazards include, but are not limited to; slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts and strains Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess any required certifications to do so Levy is an equal opportunity employer. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
