Senior Business Intelligence Developer

What does a great Senior Business Intelligence Developer do? You will perform business intelligence solution design and development to produce required reporting, dashboarding, and analytics deliverables. You will be working in an Agile environment on a hardworking business intelligence team, delivering software solutions utilized by internal and external customers. If you have a passion for development, as well as data analysis, and possess strong development skills in Business Intelligence & Analytics, this role is for you. As a software developer, you are responsible for developing, unit testing, and integration tasks, while maintaining development and quality standards. This opportunity requires close collaboration with delivery teams, product owners and managers, and the QA team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, work well in a team environment, and have an ability to learn new technologies. Basic Qualifications for Consideration: 3+ years of industry experience in BI / Analytics, reporting, Data Warehouse, ETL, and Data Modeling Experience creating the data mappings, design data model for Business Intelligence and UI reporting. Highly competent with relational database design and structured query language (SQL). 3+ years of experience in designing and documenting conceptual, logical and physical data models, data dictionaries, entity-relationship diagrams, and metadata management in traditional relational database technologies including SQL, Netezza or Oracle. 3+ years of experience with BI tools, Business Objects, Tableau etc. Working knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects 4.0+ including Universe, Dashboards, and Webi development. Good communication and interpersonal skills working with both technical and non-technical staff. Good understanding of development process; including requirements, design, construction, testing and implementation. Solid understanding of coding principles; including testing, code review, quality control, code promotion and versioning. Good understanding of data warehouse design, including relational and dimensional modeling. Proven background with Data Intelligence (data mining, analytics and metrics).. Ability to travel up to 5% Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent Proven technical understanding of data modeling, design and architecture principles and techniques across master data, transaction data and derived/analytic data. Knowledge of Mainframe, Debit and Credit data Knowledge of ETL (Informatica/Talend) Deep knowledge of best practices through relevant experience across data-related disciplines and technologies, particularly for enterprise-wide data architectures, data management, data governance and data warehousing. Strong familiarity with data modeling tools, data quality tools, data mapping tools, and data profiling tools. Overall conceptual and technical skills Experience effectively communicating with clients, vendors, teams, and senior leadership. Experience working with remote and offshore development teams. Ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing dynamic environment Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience. Financial Industry experience a plus. Highly refined communication skills including facilitation, presentation, and documentation. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
