Executive Vice President - Operations

Job Summary JOB PROFILE SUMMARY Based in our Chicago, IL office, the Executive Vice President - Operations will build the organizational capabilities needed to deliver business results and sustain high performance within the Building Construction business line (Central Region). This role will provide hands-on dynamic leadership to the organization and focus on executing the company vision. As a proven change agent, this role will build on AECOM's impressive track record and make the organization even more effective. This role will guide implementation of projects/services, ensure client satisfaction, contribute to growth opportunities, and provide leadership on operational excellence and management. The Executive Vice President - Operations is a leader who motivates and inspires employees at all levels, creating a truly team-oriented culture. Expectations and responsibilities required of the role: Set operational goals and metrics (KPIs) to meet or exceed performance expectations Ensure that operational activities are executed within allotted budget and timelines Validate budget allocation and expense management for all business operational activities Provide excellent client service in order to build and maintain strong relationships Ensure client issues/complaints are handled and resolved accurately and quickly Develop and implement plans to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency Oversee, direct, and organize the work of 6 direct reports and a total of 300-400 operations team members Provide guidance to staff in resolving operational issues, updates, ideas and problems Promote a culture of high-performance that values learning and a commitment to quality Ensure staff members receive timely and appropriate training and development Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach Assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, and evaluate results Conduct annual performance reviews and administer salary adjustments Conduct regular operational reviews and audits ensuring highest quality care delivery Upgrade and implement a system of policies, internal controls, standards, and procedures Minimum Requirements Extensive relevant operational experience including 6 or more years of senior leadership experience within the building construction industry Bachelor's degree Exhibit senior-leadership skills in strategy and taking initiative Proven track record of leadership in progressive assignments and operational management ability Demonstrate strong financial and operating skills Provide operational direction, leading to superior levels of performance measured by higher utilization, lower operating costs, improved operating margins, and enhanced processes/procedures Utilize data and metrics that identify economic and financial impact to solve problems and influence business outcomes Display experience in fast-paced environment and drive success with innovative thinking and results Demonstrate an open and empowering people management styleDisplay mentoring/coaching skills to engage direct reports, indirect reports, and peers Demonstrate integrity, ethics, sincerity, a winning attitude, high personal standards and respect for others Preferred Qualifications 20 or more years of relevant experience MBA

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
