POSITION SUMMARY

The Electrical SCADA Engineer is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the SCADA system.
The engineer will help with improving the SCADA system to ensure business performance is reached at its highest level at both the Ormond Beach, Florida and the Sidney, Ohio sites.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

  • Work with manufacturing equipment on an ambient temperature production floor will be required as needed.
  • Will be required to work on electrical control projects as needed in addition to Scada programming.
  • Modify or create PLC programs to meet changing process/production needs.
  • Provide training to electronic technicians on all new systems/controls.
  • Maintain open communication with employees ensuring an environment of positive employee relations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams as either a contributor or a leader.
  • Ability to work with outside suppliers, contractors and consultants to tap into specialized engineering expertise when needed.
  • Results oriented individual unafraid of utilizing a hands-on approach when needed, with the ability to lead sub-groups, task forces or teams to effectively solve machinery problems ranging from simple (slight modification/addition of single component) to complex (total re-design) on manufacturing and filling equipment.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • BS Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Engineering Technology (BSEE or BSEET)
  • Minimum of 3 years Electrical Engineering experiences within a manufacturing environment.
  • Must have experience in programing PLC s, HMI s, and Scada systems.
    • Allen Bradley experience is a plus.
    • Ignition Software training is a plus.
    • Must have experience in Python, HTML, CSS, SQL and Java scripting.
    • Create and perform Quality Acceptance Testing
    • Design and implement HMI graphical screens programming files.
    • Develop SCADA and Communications Schematics.
    • Work with Production and Engineering to create and maintain Production Reports and Display screens.

  • Be aware of and follow the Environmental Policy and EH&S work instructions/procedures that apply to the job.
  • Perform every job safely, for the benefit of self, co-workers, contractors, and for the protection of facilities.
    This includes the use of required personal protective equipment and use of safety equipment/devices, guarding, as well as safe work practices.
  • Immediately report every job-related injury or illness, regardless of severity, to a team leader/supervisor.
  • Assist in investigating accidents as directed by your manager.
  • Take necessary actions to correct or stop any unsafe conditions or practices.
  • Actively participate in safety meetings and training.
  • Review Safety Data Sheet instructions before working with any chemical product.
  • Maintain work area in safe condition by ensuring the work area is clean and orderly.
  • Must be willing to work in non-temperature controlled environment

QUALITY ASSURANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accurately and timely complete all Quality checks and properly document.
  • Follow all established Quality procedures and instructions.
  • Notify supervision for corrective action if and when defects are found and/or parts/processes do not conform to specifications.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

  • Edgewell teammates, contractors and regulatory agencies

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Travel required to support plant operations, vendor visits, training, etc.
  • Work on night shifts and weekends may be required.
  • Exposure to health risks or conditions that may require the use of Personal Protective Equipment.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
